Almost-swims make me sad too! Nice to hear about your wild swims over there at the moment. I'm going to try and swim through winter here in Sydney for the first time. Still 20 degs in the water at the moment :)

20 degrees! We get up to 17 in the summer. How low does it get? On Saturday the water temp here was 13.6. We'll probably get down to 11 but not much less.

I’ll let you know! At what temp does your wetsuit come out? There’s such a trend now of ditching it completely isn’t there - do many swim all winter there without?

Last year I swam in a short-sleeved wetsuit all year round but this year I have ditched it. Those who do longer swims and go further out (not my group, but there's a larger group in the city who swim 2-3km at 7am) mostly wear full length wetsuits. But my 'swimbling' group mostly just wear a swimsuit and maybe gloves/socks in winter. It means I can't stay in as long but get the all-over tingle which is good!

Absolutely - if you're swimbling, don't wanna miss the tingle!

Nope, it’s just an image. Will share the video once it’s been handed in and graded.
